The Achievement in the Arts Awards is Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s annual celebration recognizing outstanding high school seniors across theatre performance, vocal music, instrumental music, technical theatre, visual arts and dance. Originally founded by Judge Pezze and Judge McCormick, this decades-long legacy program has become the county’s central event for honoring artistic excellence. Held at the Palace Theatre, the ceremony includes awards presentations, student performances and a post-event reception for students and families. Future expansion includes scholarship growth for graduating seniors, establishment of a Westmoreland County Arts Educator of the Year Award and renewed partnerships with large-scale organizations as well as continued connections with nationally recognized training organizations including the Broadway Dreams Foundation and The Broadway .
