Celebrate 100 Years by Reliving the Palace Theatre’s Very First Show

In honor of the historic Palace Theatre’s 100-Year Centennial Anniversary, we are proud to present a performance that brings our story full circle. Canine Stars is more than a family show—it is a tribute to where it all began.

When The Palace Theatre first opened its doors on September 2, 1926, then known as the Manos Theatre, its inaugural performance featured a live animal act and stunt dog show, delighting audiences on opening night and launching what would become a century of unforgettable entertainment. 100 years later, we invite you to celebrate our Centennial by reliving the spirit of that very first performance with the return of live canine entertainment to our historic stage.

Join us this August as rescued stunt dogs, jaw-dropping tricks, and high-flying excitement return to the Palace stage in a once-in-a-century nod to our remarkable history.

About the Show

The Canine Stars deliver high-energy, thrilling stunt dog performances featuring rescued dogs. As seen on America’s Got Talent, Stupid Pet Tricks with Sarah Silverman, and Nickelodeon’s Unleashed, this show inspires audiences of all ages!

“An educational stunt dog show featuring rescued dogs, inspiring compassion for the underdog… anything is possible if you put your heart into it.”

The Canine Stars shows are a phenomenal fun fest of flying fur. Audiences are thrilled by nonstop action, interaction, and inspiration. With some of the loudest cheering in any venue, the show also sparks viral social media sharing through photos, videos, and glowing reviews.

Rescue Dogs
America’s favorite “breed” is a rescue. The Canine Stars’ mission encourages audiences to adopt from shelters and rescue groups, and their heartfelt rescue stories inspire fans of all ages.

Dock Diving Dogs
Some of the world’s biggest jumping dogs take flight in the sport of dock diving, launching more than 30 feet into a pool. In addition to two water pools, The Canine Stars also created the world’s only Ball Pit Pool for waterless dock diving.

Agility Dogs
Watching dogs race through jumps, tunnels, weave poles, and other obstacles is thrilling and gives audiences a taste of a fun, challenging sport that almost any dog can enjoy.

Disc Dogs
A dog’s favorite game of fetch became an official sport more than 40 years ago with the flying disc. The Canine Stars take it even further by adding tricks and stunt maneuvers into freestyle routines.

Freestyle Dancing Dogs
Freestyle dancing tricks have exploded in popularity thanks to Sara Carson and Hero’s rise to fame on America’s Got Talent. It is inspiring for young aspiring dog trainers and mesmerizing for audiences to watch.

Flyball Racing Dogs
Flyball racing is a fast-paced relay sport similar to drag racing. It is a perfect outlet for high-energy dogs who love to run and chase tennis balls, and it is always a crowd favorite.
