Goals - 3 years

  • Develop new audiences for all Westmoreland Cultural Trust Events
  • Expand offerings to historically underserved populations
  • Become a trusted partner to the other nonprofits, community members and corporations
  • Positioning Westmoreland Cultural Trust for tourism through destination marketing

Strategies 12-18 months

  • Analyze all Westmoreland Cultural Trust audiences and establish growth metrics (tactics include heat mapping by zip code, increased understanding of attendance and preferences, and profit margins)
  • Collaboration with 10 new community partners
  • Targeted partnerships in Arnold, New Kensisington, Jeannette, Penn Borough, Greensburg, Monessen and Vandigrift

PROGRAMS & SERVICES

  • Diversification of program offerings
  • Enhance Patron Experience
  • Development of an education and engagement department

  • Hire an Education and Engagement Manager and task them with new community programming
  • Understand current patron journey and develop new processes and training to enhance experiences
  • Analyze programmatic offerings by genre and demographics for recommended broad changes in offerings

INTERNAL TALENT

  • Establish employee engagement program and professional development plan
  • Ongoing analysis of human capital and needs as we aspire to grow.

  • Develop effective hiring process to recruit and retain talent with Compass recommendations
