The safety and security of our guests, artist, volunteers, and staff is paramount at any Westmoreland Cultural Trust venue or property. Please review the following policies and procedures to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
All patrons and their belongings are subject to search upon entering our facilities. Any person refusing such screening may be denied entry into the venue without refund.
TIPS FOR ENTRY
NO RE-ENTRY
Once guests have passed the security screening and ticket check for entry into the venue, they are not permitted to exit and re-enter for any reason.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following is a list of outside items which are prohibited on Westmoreland Cultural Trust owned and/or operated properties. This list is not all inclusive and is subject to change at any time with or without notice. All prohibited items should be left at home or secured within vehicles. Unattended items will be discarded and are not the responsibility of any representative of Westmoreland Cultural Trust.
- Weapons of any kind or facsimiles of weapons, including firearms, pellet guns, stun guns, martial arts weapons, pepper spray, pocket/utility knives, or cutting instruments
(While WCT respects guests’ constitutional right to bear arms, we ask that guests respect WCT’s right to restrict the presence of weapons on WCT properties.) - Flammable liquids
- Fireworks, pyrotechnics, flares, or incendiary devices
- Glass, metal, or plastic containers of any kind (unless used for medical need), including cans, bottles, and flasks (with the exception of empty The Palace Theatre souvenir cups)
- Outside food or beverage, including alcohol
- Oversized bags that exceed 16”x16”x8” (unless used for medical need)
- Laser pointers
- Audio or video recording devices
- Professional cameras, including those with detachable lenses
- Laptops/tablets
- Signs, flags, banners
- Helium balloons
- Masks (with the exception of medical use)
- Jewelry that could be used as a weapon, including heavy chains and studded bracelets
- Pets, including comfort or emotional support animals (with the exception of vested and leashed service animals)
- Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, or advertisements
GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
- Guests will be treated in a consistent , professional, and courteous manner by all theatre personnel.
- Guests can feel comfortable reporting inappropriate behavior to an usher, house manager, or security officer.
- Guests will comply with requests from venue staff and security regarding facility operations and emergency response procedures.
- Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and will show their tickets when requested.
- Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner and in compliance with the law.
- Guests will wear a shirt, shoes, and lower garments at all times.
- Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects, using foul/abusive language or gestures, attempting to enter restricted areas, or other behavior detrimental to the experience of other guests will be immediately ejected from the venue, without refund, and may be subject to police action for these violations.
- Guests will not interfere with the event or performers in any way.
- Guests will not smoke or use tobacco-related products anywhere inside the theatre at any time. (Designated smoking/vaping area is provided adjacent to The Palace Theatre’s Megan’s Suite.)
- Guests will not attempt to enter the theatre without a ticket or appropriate credential, and will only enter and exit via the main entrance.
By purchasing tickets, entering the property, and/or attending this event, I and/or any individuals in my party voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury- including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death- to myself and assume all risks of illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at a Westmoreland Cultural Trust event. I hereby release, covenant not to sue, to discharge, and to hold harmless the Westmoreland Cultural Trust, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses, of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Westmoreland Cultural Trust.
All ticket sales are final; no refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued unless an event is canceled or rescheduled. In the case of a cancellation or rescheduling, most fees are non-refundable. Your ticket is a revocable license valid only for the event listed on the ticket and is subject to the full terms and conditions set by Westmoreland Cultural Trust and The Palace Theatre. Theatre management reserves the right to revoke this license without refund for non-compliance with any terms or policies. Guests are responsible for verifying all ticket details- including, but not limited to, the artist, date, time, venue, seat location, and pricing- before completing their purchase. Westmoreland Cultural Trust is not responsible for errors made by the ticket holder. Additionally, ticket holders are responsible for checking their email, the venue's website, and official social media channels for any last-minute event changes, including time adjustments, cancellations, or postponements. Westmoreland Cultural Trust terms and conditions apply to all ticket purchases- including in person, over the phone, or online (both through Westmoreland Cultural Trust's official websites or through third parties).
