Welcome to the Old Salem Market! 🌾

The Old Salem Market began in the summer of 2024 as a new and exciting way to bring local farmers, artisans, and small businesses together—and thanks to your incredible support, it was a huge success! For 2025, we’re continuing to grow with a seasonal market schedule and monthly pop-up markets on the first Sunday of each month, offering fresh produce, handcrafted goods, specialty foods, and more. Whether you're a returning shopper or discovering the market for the first time, we can't wait to welcome you for another season of supporting local!

What size are the vendor spaces?
Outside spots are 10'X10' each | Inside spaces are 8'X6' each
What time does the market take place?
ALL markets run from 10am-2pm
What happens if it rains during the Summer Market Season?
If the weather does not allow for outdoor setup, the market will move indoors (space permitting). We will make an announcement on our social media pages, if anything changes.
Does it cost to attend as a shopper?
No! The Old Salem Market is free entry and all are welcome!
How do I become a vendor?
Please submit the corresponding vendor form found on this page. Once your applications is reviewed, a team member will reach out with conformation. Please note that submitted applications do not guarantee a spot at our markets.
What types of vendors are accepted?
We welcome vendors who sell: ✔️ Locally grown or prepared food (e.g., produce, baked goods, honey, flowers, etc.) ✔️ Handmade or artisan items (e.g., jewelry, crafts, pottery, candles, etc.) ❌ We do NOT accept flea market items or store-bought resale products.
How do I stay updated on market events and vendor lineups?

Can I bring my dog to the market?
We love pet visits! Well behaved and leashed pets are welcome at our outdoor markets, but please be mindful of the weather and crowds!
What is the parking situation like?
We offer convenient and FREE parking in our lot with 200 spaces.
Do vendors take cash, card or both?
Vendor payment methods vary. Please come prepared with cash, card, Venmo, etc. Greensburg Garden and Civic Center DOES NOT have an ATM.

Old Salem Market – Vendor Requirements & Expectations

Vendor Approval: All vendors must be approved by the GGCC and Vendor Board before participating in the market.

Product Requirements: All items must be homegrown, handmade, or fresh baked—no flea market or resale items are permitted.

Vendor Selection: Vendors are chosen based on market needs, community benefit, and limiting duplicate vendors to ensure variety.

Food & Body Products: Vendors selling food, beverages, or body products must provide liability insurance and meet all required health and safety regulations.

Payment & Fees: All vendor fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.

Cancellations: Vendors must notify the GGCC Manager at least 24 hours in advance via email if they cannot attend a market.

No-Show Policy: Vendors who fail to show up without notice may be removed from future markets.

Authenticity Standards: The GGCC Manager and Vendor Board reserve the right to verify product authenticity and remove vendors who do not meet market standards.
Presentation Matters: Vendor displays should be clean, organized, and inviting to enhance the shopping experience. Professionalism & Courtesy: Vendors must be respectful and courteous to customers, fellow vendors, and market staff at all times.

No Haggling: Prices should be set with confidence—negotiating with customers is discouraged.

Supporting the Market: Vendors are encouraged to promote the market through their own social media and networks.

Welcoming Atmosphere: Vendors should greet new vendors and customers warmly to help create a friendly, community-driven environment.

Customer Engagement: Vendors should be attentive and approachable while at their booth to provide a positive shopping experience.

Market Rules & Regulations: Vendors must follow all market policies and health regulations, especially those related to food and sample distribution.

The GGCC Manager & Vendor Board reserves the right to enforce these guidelines, verify product authenticity, and take necessary action if a vendor does not adhere to the market’s values.
